Ive been sick for about 10 years. The illness doesnt really progress. At least for me it hasnt. Its improved slowely, because ive found certain supplements that help my symptoms.
I think there is more understanding now about the illness than when i first got sick. When i first had problems about 50% of doctor belived in it. Now i would say it is about 80-90%. Not that they know how to treat it though.
If you are looking for treatments you have to find a dr. that uses traditional and alternative treatments, because there are really very good traditional treatments right now |

i was given antidepressants - they made me sick. I have cfs about 4 years now - it seems to get worse. I have some bad days and relly bad days. must learn to pace yourself. she will wor for her self what she can and can not do. usually by trial and error and by over doing it. You dont know whats too far till you push yourself there.
There is not a lot you can do for her to be honest except help her with simple tings that may wear her out - like make he bed - take the bins out etc - these things make me so tired its silly. i feel so useless. get her to reat banaas too they help and avoid caffine to wake up - will not work - makes you worse. Read other posts on the forum too - theres a ot of info here |
