I have just completed two weeks of the Ashok Gupta Amygdala Retraining course and I am extremely impressed.
I am significantly improved, I am finding it hard to believe that I could improve this much in only 2 weeks.
One of the people giving a testimonial on the DVD said she had improved noticeably after 1 to 2 weeks and that her husband had commented on the difference. Well my wife has commented several times how much better I am. My outlook on life has changed, I am beginning to look forward to the next day instead of dreading it.
I believe that Ashok has got it right as far as the cause of CFS is concerned - he says that a person with CFS always has his stress response on full alert - and thats exactly how I have always felt.
I have been getting out and about and doing things instead of sitting around like a wet cabbage. Years ago I used to play keyboards, not especially well but I enjoyed it - I had to give it up because of CFS. Yesterday I joined our local keyboard group and today I should be getting my new keyboard! How life can change in such a short time!
Ashok says that improvement is not lineal - there are peaks and troughs - but thats OK, I can accept that and I will get through the troughs if I know that I can come up again.
I would recommend this course to anyone with CFS.

thats interesting, im interested to see how it goes in the long term. Ive had alot of treatments that initially helped, but then never really panned out. But the people that have been trying the gupta course have had pretty goods things to say about it.
also i agree with the stress response being over active. I feel like that too |
