I'm a 45yo Autralian male who is bedridden unless I use oral Vitamin C averaging 30,000 to 100,000mg a day....I have been using this regime for many years and so far this is THE ONLY treatment that provides ongoing good results....For those who are skeptical here is another forum that will hopefully help you... www.vitamincfoundation.org/forum ...I don't sell vitamin C or any products I simply buy it in bulk from an Australian Chemical company for my own & family use... I'm happy to answer any question as to how it works for me..please read the below links and give it a try..the only person that vitamin C will help is you

Ive actually tried this treatment, high doses of vitamin c used to work for me when i first got sick.I found it out one time i was getting a cold, and i took alot ton of vit c and i was still getting the ccold, but my chronic fatige was better. It would almost make me feel totally better, but then it stopped working for some reason. Ive had my antioxidant levels checked and they're really low. This seems to be a common problem with chronic fatigue.

Yes there will be times where more is necessary that other times..I mainly use VitC for the muscle pain & fluey breathless chest pain symptoms but it is necessary to define tons...At times 10grams of AscorbicAcid powder 3 times a day is sufficient and on bad days I'l take 10grams every 30mins for upto 3 hours before I get relief and yes it also works on the fatigue....But the key is to take it until you start to get more gas compared to usual...its a balancing act but you must get the amount right or else there will be no improvement...and if you take too much then you simply get the belly cramps, gas then loose stools....1 gram of VitC (ascorbic acid powder) = 1000mg....Thats a lot of VitC but if you carefully read the Doctors articles above it will make more sense....Dont give up if you try a couple of 500mg tablets and it doesn't work...It doesn't work if you don't take enough...also goto www.vitamincfoundation.org/forum and read about Vitamin C...it really will open your eyes if you can find the desire to read...don't give up..VitC helps, its not a cure but it helps control the symptoms....Yes I've gone on about it because without it I'm bedridden and it would be great to see other sufferers helped....Don't forget that Pharmaceutical/Drug companies wont research VitC because they cant make money from a natural product but they will dismiss it and even discredit it in favour of what they make to sell to you

I thought I'd add my 2 cents from my experience with long-term, large doses of Vit-C and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS-ME).

A business aquaintance of my father-in-law came down with something like CFS-ME years ago (not sure if he was diagnosed with it or not), and swears that the high-dose vitamin-C thing cured him. He was quite disabled and unable to work when he was sick, then did the treatment and has been totally healthy ever since.

I, on the other hand, tried the same vitamin-C regimen and it did not do anything for my CFS-ME.

This just goes to show how CFS-ME patients can vary widely in how their body systems are affected and what therapies are helpful.
