D-Ribose

Is this helping anyone with energy? I would like to try it and wanted some input from someone who has used it.

ribose helped

Postby choling » Fri Oct 24, 2008 6:41 pm

hi i started taking ribose a month ago along with Dr Teitelbaums Energy Booster. Within a couple of hours of taking the ribose i felt a very noticeable extra zing. i was concerned that this might be pushing me artificially and a fall might be coming. it didnt. my fatigue levels have lifted a bit, but what is obvious to me know is that i am thinking MUCH more clearly...my moods and responses feel more moderated. definitely worth a try.

Ribose

Postby gato » Sat May 02, 2009 10:11 pm

I took this for energy and did not feel any help, I don't think. Come to think of it.... I ran out about a week ago and have been needing more sleep. Does anyone else have experience with this? :?:

Not sure it's doing anything

Postby vi_lontano » Sun May 17, 2009 4:09 pm

I have been on this on and off for probably three years
I started at the three times a day for the first month or so and just gained weight (it's an extra 100 calories a day I'm short and essentially bedridden...bad combo)so I was pretty sure it didn't increase my functioning because I was moving enough to burn off the extra calories...

Then was on it two or one time per day, basically because I wasn't having any bad side-effects ...which I usually get from supplements...but can't say i noticed any help on it or hurt off it

Recently I've really crashed so restarted 3 times per day...I'll let you know if this go round is any different

I take it two to three times per day. I think it does help. I also take many other supplements as well including a strong B complex. It's expensive but I keep taking it. For me it's worth it as I take it before I make dinner and I think that gives me just enough energy to stand in the kitchen for an hour.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR 2 MONTHS AND BOUGHT IT BECAUSE OF A SHOW DR. OZ HAD ON TV AND SAID TO USE IT FOR ENERGY. SO FAR BIG WASTE OF MONEY. TAKING 3 TO 5 TIMES A DAY. NO RESULTS.

I tried D-Ribose for a while, it gave me a small dose of mental energy, just barely enough to notice, but not enough to actually do anything.
