Hey All,
About a month ago, I thought I had the flu as I constantly felt tired and had to sleep. At the end, I visited my GP and was confirmed I have CFS. I was signed off work for a week. Since I visited the GP, I have noticed a lot of things happening inside my head which I cannot seem to explain to make it sounds as if I am not crazy.
I have experienced so far:
1) I keep wanting to doze off as the brain keeps turning itself off. This seems to happen at work a lot and it is not good.
2) Sleep does not make any difference at all. I sleep when I can, but when I wake up, I feel exactly the same as before I went to sleep.
3) I keep forgetting things. Once I went out for a walk around my local area, came to a street and I forgot where I was. This was only about 5 mins away from when I left the house.
4) Everything seems to be hazy/foggy, as if I am constantly dreaming and nothing around me seems to be real.
5) This scares me the most - I dont seem to have any emotions at all?? I dont feel anger, sad, happy etc.
At the moment, I am just taking vitamin pills and going out for gentle walks. This seems to have controlled the constant yawning, but I still keep dozing off at work and at home. Each morning when I wake up, I always hope the head had cleared up, but it does not.
I am really at a loss now, as I work on a helpdesk and having bad memory does not help things at all (
This is reallt making my life a complete misery |

the good thing is that, if its been only a month its really hard to tell if you have it or not.
You should also get yourself checked out for thyroid and adrenal problems, anemia, and everything else. Get a doctor that is familar with cfs and might know what tests to do.
I know people that have had similar problems with fatigue and it turned out to be a thyroid problem. |
