I have bipolar disorder and take medications that result in me being excessivley tired. Red bull is the only thing that gets me through a 12 hour shift at a hospital. Coffe upsets my stomach and makes me feel jittery, whereas red bull just makes me feel awake and able to focus on my job. Not everything in life is good for you but the results sometimes outweighs the risk, my biplolar meds are way more harmful to my body than a red bull but without them I can't function as well. As for those people who say healthy living is the answer to all, well I take very good vitamen supplements exercise 5 times a week and get proper sleep and am a generally relaxed person, so that's a load of you know what....

How can you guys honestly believe that Red Bull will help??? Like any drug you have an up time and then a down time (which is often worse than what you felt before you drank it!) And you guys are complaining of fatigue??? Are you actually serious about getting better and improving your lifestyle? Or are you not going to take any responsibility for your own health? I've had CFS for 8 years now so I now what it's like. But I've learnt the more you abuse your body, the more it's going to fight you back. Love your body by nourishing it with good, nutritious food and also change your mind set. Kinesiology and chiropractic have helped me so much. Suss it out instead of reaching for a quick fix. I don't know about you, but I'd rather get better than have to rely on a 6 pack of red bull a day....

Yes b vitamins are good for you,yes Taurine and its precursor is good for you, sugar is bad and coffee is bad and it want kill you, it will just keep you from living the way you want to live and when you start going to doctor to doctor and you are spending your money and getting nowhere then and only then will you take yourself and your diet seriously. Now, one thing I dont like about most herbal supplements and energy drinks is that we westerners are not experts on making formulas that have an overall balancing effect on the body. The chinese have cornered that market. Taking each and everyone of these ingredients in redbull and analyzing them is not the way to judge wether redbull is good or bad. Its the overall ingredients put together that determines if this really has a negative effect on our health. When supplements and herbs and amino acids are not properly balanced then it suppresses one thing which causes imbalances somewhere else. If you really want to know if this is bad for you, take it to good chinese doctor that understands how important balance is and understands the totality and the chemistry of the overall effect from red bull. Im not saying that it is good or bad but when in doubt do without.Im not worried about any of you dying from redbull, what I worry about is that you might have a synergistic relationship with all that plagues you when you get older. Its about the quality of your life. One thing you guys got going for you is the amount of good information on the internet. I didnt have any of this when I was growing up and I suffered and suffered from so many things and I had no clue what they were and neither did my doctors. The only person that has changed is me.Now I know, but the doctors are still clueless.Learn as much as you can, because you will not benefit from this great healthcare system that we supposedly have. Their diagnostic work and all the machines are fantastic, and after all is said and done, you might get an anti-acid,or some strong ibuprofen.Dont get me wrong, there are drugs that save peoples lives but they are no longer in service because they are not a profit. So unless yu want some viagra, a strong anti acid or some powerful ibuprofen or yu are in a terrible car accident the doctor is not the place to go when you have massive amounts of nutrional disorders because they only have 3 credit hours in diet and nutrition. Oh and buy all the supplements you can,or learn to be an uncanny expert on home remedies because the FDA will take anything and everything off the market that works and that is profitable and something that takes money away from pharmaceuticals, those poor things. When they actually start to accomplish this they will take all natural supplements and add to them. In the beginning you will be feeling good, after 3 or 4 months you start wondering if you should call the mortuary to pick you up.Drugs are synthetic, they are plastic and plastic is meant for boats and cars not people and you will never hear or read about the millions of people that died because of side effects. Have you ever seen a graveyard with a tombstone that says here lies Johnny of a fenugreek and thyme overdose?Did you ever wander what how forefathers had in mind or said behind close doors? You poison them, sue them and bury them, but I want you to remember one thing, we are free. Free to work our ass off to pay for health insurance which cost more than my morgage that pays for all of my antiacids, ibuprofen and all of my preventive workups to see if I have cancer. I am sick of this and I have decided that I am not going to give my money to any major corporation. If I get cancer, Im calling Dr. korvorski.

hey GUYS whoa calm down here, we're ALL humans..i mean when a alien invasion comes and tries to destroy earth, WE DONT WANT TO BE ARGUEING ABOUT RED BULL. Anywaaays, I'm 6 years old and it's overly mundane to think that red bull is unhealthy. You see... I am a successful test experiment- the docters injected me with my mothers permission a formula which boosts my reflexes, abiluity to leanr amongst other things. I realize that when i drank red bull, i literally went super saiyan. It's great if your tired. Diseases and harmful side effects are irrevalent to Red Bull. It's GREAT

I completely agree with the above 2 posts.
Also, to the person saying that he/she had a friend who, over the course of TWO years, had a drastic personality/physique change blah blah blah and then saying it was because of Red Bull.. what a cop out. In TWO YEARS, LOTS of things happen and I have no doubt in my mind that the cause for yuor friend's situation can be ANYTHING, most UNLIKELY Red Bull.

I drink Red Bull fot the taste. I love the taste. I do not have problems with it because I am smart enough to read the labels and realize there is alot of caffeine in it, and so to avoid problems, I simply do not drink more than I can handle.
The only thing I MIGHT ever want to change about Red Bull is: Currently, I cannot drink more than 2 cans a day; I would LOVE it if they would introduce (in addition to sugar-free Red Bull), Caffeine-free Red Bull for those of us who don't drink it for the caffeine or energy boost, but for the taste. I would drink a whole lot more.
I LOVE the taste of Red Bull.
For those who say stuff like 'well, what's the point of that? Red Bull's PURPOSE is caffeine and energy blah blah,' etc, well, we have caffeine-free pop (soda) like coke..etc.
Hell, we even have decaf-coffee. It would be the exact same concept.
Caffeine-free Red Bull for those who either only drink Red Bull because they enjoy the taste and don't care about the energy-boost OR even for those who drink it for the caffeine but also like the taste and want to be able to drink more after they've reached their daily caffeine-limit.

LOTS of people, for whatever reason, LOVE Red Bull (myself included). For those who don't like it or whatever, stop being a p*ssy and just simply DON'T DRINK IT! Everyone else shouldn't have to pay and give up something they love just 'coz you don't like it. No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to buy and drink it. Stop being so selfish. Sheesh.
