The causes that we know of are bacteria (p.acnes), hormones, sebaceous glands that are overly active, and stress. Here a 10 inexpensive supplements that you can pick up at you local health food store. These vitamins and supplements will get rid of acne just as well as the dermatologists perscription drugs.
1. Grapefruit Seed Extract – This is number one because it works the best and is inexpensive. The extract of grapefruit seeds has anti-biotic and anti-viral properties. It will get rid of the acne on your face as well as keep you from getting a cold. The brand that is recommend is Nutribiotic GSE Liquid Concentrate. This stuff is super concentrated and one bottle will last a long time. Mix a few drops in a glass of water and drink.
2. Grape Seed Extract – This is a very powerful anti-oxidant that is good for your skin. It also has anti-biotic and anti-fungal properties. It has very similar effects to grapefruitseed extract.
3. Pantothenic Acid – This is a B Vitamin that is found in meat,eggs and poultry. This is an inexpensive vitamin which keeps the stress hormone cortisol under control and keeps stressful situations from causing breakouts. This vitamin alone can be very effective in some people.
